Moodabidri is in the fore-front in the field of Education. It has Elementary, Higher Elementary, High Schools, Junior Colleges and First Grade Colleges. It has twenty two Primary and Higher Elementary Schools, Five High Schools. 

Among the colleges Moodabidri has two Junior colleges, two First Grade Colleges, a Polytechnic College a College of Nursing an  Institute of Nursing ,a Ayurveda Medical College a College of Physiotherapy a College of Naturopathy and Yogic Science and a College of applied Science and Business Management.
